I am beyond excited to announce the fact that Buddy has a home for the 11 months that I am away!!
One of my (now former) co-workers, Kristi, read my blog about Buddy needing a home and immediately forwarded on the information to her really good friend, Lori. As it turns out, Lori, her husband and their daughter live just 3 miles away from my parents’ home in Coon Rapids…coincidence?? I think not… 🙂
To make a long story short, my sister and I were heading down to the my parent’s house for girl’s weekend so I decided I would bring Buddy down to meet Lori. Lori came over to my parents’ house and spent almost 2 hours meeting Buddy (and me), getting to know him (and again me), and just chatting. She is exactly the kind of person I wanted to take Buddy…she is incredibly nice, has a warm and inviting personality, she is a seemingly fabulous pet owner as well as mother, and is also someone who loves the Lord. What more could I ask for?
I am so confident that Buddy is going to be so loved and taken care of while I am gone. God is seriously looking after me and providing for every last detail. Praise Him!
