Please be in prayer for the camp that everything will run smoothly, pray a protection of health and safety and that the campers will have an awsome time, most of all getting to know Chirst in a personal way. I will come back with stories and answers to prayer. Pray specifically for the girls I will be working with and that God will prepare their hearts. Please pray that God gives me wisdom and discernment. For health and well rested nights. That lives will be changed for His glory. Pray and listen expect to hear God!
Prayers Answered!!!
Camp was exactly where I was suppose to be! I had a cabin full of precious 9 and 1o year old girls! Here are a few short stories and pictures.
One of the girls who had never read the Bible or been introduced to it, asked me if she could write out Bible verses to decorate the cabin and draw a cross.
I was talking with them about prayer one night and sharing with them how God is and wants to talk to us and if they had anything that they would want to tell God since He is right here! One of the girls said, “I am just AMAZED that He is here!
We went for a walk one night in the dark! One of the girls was scared of the dark and we gathered around her to pray for her (Her tears were taken away) On our walk back to the cabin we were all singing to Jesus!
All the children had an opportunity to donate their left over candy money for the week to any need they wanted. One of the girls came up to me and gave me a $5 bill and said I want the poor to have this.
Please continue to pray for the camp, campers and all the staff who are their all summer and year round, serving God!
