68 yrs old; 3 of 5 of her own children                                                                                                                     cares for 6 children
have passed away; cares for 3 grandchildren

Today we had a spunky, young entreprenuer come share with us.  She and her mother have taken the first steps towards what could be a life-long endeavor that would not only bring money to Swaziland, but could also bring eye-opening awareness of the lives of hard working women in that small country.  Even putting pictures on my blog kind of blows my mind!  They may never know that their faces are being sent into the world on the waves of the world wide web…but because of modern technology, we here in America can now know details of these women’s lives.  Like most women in Africa, these women most likely spend their days caring for more children than they have the money or food to provide for.  They are in need!  And hearing what this young woman, Hannah Williams, is doing to play her part in meeting those needs is quite inspiring!!

Hannah and her mom have started Granola4life. (that’s the website at the top of the page) Because  it is just in the beginning stages, it does not yet have an online ordering form…but both Hannah and her mom, Meg’s emails are on there and are welcome to ordering by email.  I strongly encourage you to check out the site and order a couple of bags as gift for Valentines!!

Hannah brought us samples today and it was awesome!!  we were like kids in a candy store, squealing for more!

They have a special Valentines mix…and each bag (even if its not the V-day mix) has the picture and story of a Swazi woman.  It is a great way to show exactly where your support is going and gives a wonderful touch to let buyers know that Granola4life is serious about giving the money to support the lives of these women.

We prayed for Hannah today as she left.  We were certain that there are big things in store for her!!  As young as she is, 21, she already has a heart that looks for ways to provide for needs that seem so overwhelming sometimes.  She and her mom make great granola…they are using what may seem like a small thing to make a big difference!!!
