The way fundraising works is that we are given deadlines to meet along the way to ensure we meet our full amount. This means fundraising even after I’ve left the States, which can be a bit tricky.
I am currently in the middle of two fundraisers:
The first is a “Change Fundaiser”. Basically, you adopt a jar representing a country I am visiting this year. Thus, there are 11 jars that are available for adoption. The way it works is you (or a Sunday School class, colleagues, etc.) place your spare change inside and as it accumulates you can donate that amount! It’s crazy how quickly it adds up, and it’s a super easy way to help me fundraise! PLUS each jar will give you fun facts about each country and ways to pray for the people who live there. The second fundraiser I am currently doing it a T-shirt fundraiser! I currently have a VERY limited amount of T-shirts I am selling. They were donated to me to sell to raise money for my trip. They are generic World Race t-shirts, but are super cool looking. I currently have TWO Larges and TWO XLs still available for $20 each. Comment below if you are interested!
