Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” -Matthew 11:28-30
Here are a few things that have been on my mind and heart recently…
–I will be in India in less than 6 weeks
-Will I meet my 2nd financial deadline of $7,500 by then
-EEEEK
-I miss my Aunts and my Uncle
-Is my family really ok with this
-I really want Imo’s pizza and some good BBQ before I leave
The Lord’s reply to my thoughts…
–I’m so happy you said Yes to me
–Where there is a vision there is provision, I got you
–I KNOW, I AM EXCITED TOO
–I know you do, but I am here to comfort you
–I will take care of them
-I hope He is saying “I will give you the desires of your heart”
I am thankful that The Lord is Faithful to take these worries and burdens and turns them into something beautiful. He is faithful friends. Am I worried about having enough money to leave in a few weeks? NO. Because He has called me to this and I know He will provide.
So friends I want to say to you to trust in the Lord with all of your heart. He is faithful to take your burdens and give you rest. Check out these scriptures and let the Lord minister to you. It does not matter what you have done or what kind of person you are now. God is a loving Papa who loves to take care of His kiddos. Be Blessed in all that you do friends!
Give your burdens to the Lord,
and he will take care of you.
He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.-Psalm 55:22
Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
don’t try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he’s the one who will keep you on track.
Don’t assume that you know it all.
Run to God! Run from evil!
Your body will glow with health,
your very bones will vibrate with life!-Proverbs 3:5-8
Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you,
Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.-1 Peter 5:6,7
For He is [Himself] our peace (our bond of unity and harmony).-Ephesians 2:14
