Month 1: India
Team: Mosaic
^This is Mosaic. I seriously love these people so much. This was our first Sunday on the Race. I so enjoyed every minute I got with these people. From playing Phase10 to digging ditches in Thailand and our worship nights, not one moment was a moment wasted.
^On Monday mornings we went to a school and spent some time with kids in grades 1-4. During our time with them we would sing kids worship songs, do a live skit, and have a short prayer time with the kids. The kids pictured here come from all different kinds of families. Some families love Jesus while other families serve multiple gods.
^Meet Mosi River. We were put together for the first month of the race. Little did we know the bond that was going to be formed out of that first month. India would not have been the same without all of these people. I love each of their personalities. Without a doubt some of my favorites.
^This picture came from a visit at a boys and girls home we went to in Bangalore. This home was for kids whose parent’s were in prison or missing. We had so much fun while we were there. Started out with games with boys and songs with girls. Soon after the downpour came. Went from dry to completely soaked in two seconds. The rain pushed us indoors where the girls were in one room and the boys were in another. Somehow the djembe (a drum) ended up in the boys room and we danced for the next 45 minutes. Loved spending time with these kids.
^Nandi Hills in Southern India. Such a beautiful view.
^Meet Robert. This right here my friends is a man of God. He is so sweet. Jeremy and Chris meet him on the street one day, he owns a chicken shop next to our house. After talking to him a bit they found out that he was a christian. He shared his story with us and invited us to meet some of his friends and go on a prayer walk with him one day. He led us to people’s business’s and homes, we met and prayed for so many people that day. Afterwards he led us to his house, which was also a small orphanage for children whose parents left them. Hope to reconnect with this man one day.
^Just some boys with their teacher. They were all so kind and so curious as to why Americans were in their neighborhood. Love their smiles!
Well friends this was a quick review of my time in India. Enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you for sending me.
