On Thursday evening, my squad arrived at the Adventures in Missions based in Antigua, Guatemala. We spent the weekend together hearing teaching from squad mates. Today, several of the teams left to disperse to their ministries for the month. However, three teams are left behind. My team and Branches of Peace are staying here at the AIM base this month and the men are here for a few more days before heading to Belize for Manistry month.
This month we don’t have an assigned ministry because we are doing something called Unsung Heros. An unsung hero is someone who lives in their community and uses the resources they have to care for the people around them. So what we are doing this month is going out into Antigua and identitifying the Unsung Heros here, so that AIM can partner with them for the long term.
So this is where you can help, I know several of you that’s will read this have done short term trips in the Guatemala area. So if you have contacts here that would be good for AIM to partner with you can hit the contact me at the side of this blog. Our guys are also going to be doing the same thing in Belize so if you have contacts there I could forward information to the guys in Belize.
Please pray that that the Lord walks before us and with this as we go about the month. I can’t wait to tell you about the ways the Lord works this month.
