Last week I set a goal that to some may seem impossible. I am trying to be fully funded by August 1st, with the promise that my good friend Joe Greene will shave his head if I reach the goal. The exact number that I still had to raise was $4,186, now we are down to $3,222 with two weeks left. To some this may seem like an impossible goal, and so they question why I would set it and be so public about it. Well, I am expecting God to show up in a mighty way through all of this. I am making it a public goal and journey so that other can see how God works in mighty way even through something as small as fundraising.
I’ll be real with you, when I first set of to raise over $15,000 I never thought that less than a year later I would be so close to raising it. I am constantly reminded of how wonderful my God is through the support of those people around me.
So please pray for me and my squad as we are preparing for training camp and the world race. And pray about financially supporting me in this push to be fully funded by August 1st.
