The other day while having a little team time, Tellus had each of us write a eulogy of sorts. ?He wanted us to write down what we would say about ourselves at the end of our lives or what we hoped someone would say about us. ?
This is what I wrote…
?
Jenni loved Jesus with her whole heart and lived everyday to serve God and to further His kingdom.
A daughter, a sister and a friend.?
A wife and a mother who was a kid at heart.
Singer and storyteller. Dancer and photographer.
An adventurer and world changer.
A good listener and a terrible cook.
She was constantly trying to learn to be patient.
Encourager, motivator, challenger.
A fighter for justice. A food fanatic.
She was completely captivating with her love for others.
She was filled with joy and laughter.
A prayer warrior. ?A worshipper. ?A servant.
A mentor. A world traveler.?
Intelligent, funny, compassionate, confident.
She hungered for more – more of God, more passion, more revival.
Dreamer, believer, spontaneous, whimsical.
Lover of the little things.?
Fan of sunflowers and all things rustic.
Fashion diva, lipstick wearer, and a southern belle at heart.
Reader, tea drinker and beach lover.
But most of all, she lived her life radically. ?
She did things with excellence and for the glory of God.?
She loved without hesitation or qualification and put the needs of others above her own.
She was fierce, a force to be reckoned with and a delight to be with. ?
She really lived…and had a life full of the abundance that only God can give. ?
She was a daughter of the King.?
She was beautiful in every way.
?
?
This is the woman that my heart desires to be and is who God has called me to be. ?
Am I all of these things? No.
Will I be someday? Maybe.
But this is the woman I’m striving to be…
a daughter who loves her Daddy and lives to love and honor Him. ?
?

?
Be who you are called to be.?
