I’m Jenni. And no, I don’t mind if you say it in a Forrest Gump voice.
The type A side of my personality likes lists…so here is a list about me.

I love to sing. All the time. My jeep and my shower are my greatest audience.

I can lick my elbow. Random, I know but it is always the random fact I use for ice breaker games.

I grew up in North Carolina but was born in Ohio. I like to think I’m a southern girl but I don’t like collard greens so the jury is still out on whether I qualify or not.

I am addicted to sweet tea. Hence, why I think I’m southern.

Hands down I have the best sister in the world. Stephanie, my older sister, is my best friend, my biggest supporter, my fashion consultant, and is constantly laughing with me.  And she’s always down for a random dance off in the middle of a store.  She also has a pretty awesome husband who is the best big brother anyone could ever ask for! Oh, and thanks for letting me live with yall!

My dad, Ron, and my stepmom, Charmel, are just as awesome and I can’t even begin to describe how much I love them and their cooking!

I love a good battle of wits.

I have a serious love for Moe’s. And carbs…really, just food in general.

I secretly want to be a hippie, though there is not hipster about saying that. Oh well…

Whether it’s the beach, the mountains, or a backyard bonfire, I love being outside!

My passion is people. Young or old, friend or stranger, I want to know you and hear your story.  There’s so much to be learned from listening to others – where they’ve been, what they’ve done, who they are…

Though I love getting to know people, I’m not the best listener. I like to talk a lot. I’m hoping the Race will teach me to listen better.

I’m an East Carolina alumni – GO PIRATES!!

I love to laugh and to make others laugh. Tell me a good joke and we will be instant friends.

Music is constantly playing in my world.  I enjoy all genres but especially love the good stuff from the 70s and 80s.

Most importantly, God is awesome!  He constantly amazes me with His unending and unconditional love, mercy, and grace.  He is always good.  In a crazy changing world, He is always constant.

I know God has some beautiful things in store for me and this race and I couldn’t be more excited about it!!!
