Hey all! Welcome to my World Race page…a place where you can keep updated on me, my team and what God is doing in our lives. Enough about that, though. Here’s a little about me!
Everyone knows me as a servant, as I am always doing a different job. I’ve been blessed to grow up in a Christian family be a Christian since a very young age. Every one of my relatives, from my 104 year old great grandmother to the youngest, are believers! I love my family and would not have been able to make it through my life without them. I am a Canadian MK! My parents have been involved in camp ministry my entire life. I love camp. Always have. Always will.
Life took a dramatic change for my family in 1995, as I was in a serious car accident that should have claimed my life, but only shattered my jaw. Life hasn’t been the same since. I have many limitations with food and often get headaches, back and neck pain. God is good and I am alive and well. Finally, 12 years later, I am done surgeries! In 2006, I had the best summer of my life at the Focus on the Family Institute.
Since then, I’ve been really tested in my faith! I just finished working on a cruise ship in the Caribbean, which was a unique experience. Things I love : traveling, photography, working with children/youth, coffee, chocolate, baking my “famous” m&m chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, reading, curling up in front of the tv to watch a chick-flick. Laughing, star-gazing, hugs, friends and road trips are added blessings. One more thing – the ocean! When you’re in the middle of it and can’t see anything, there’s no doubt that there is a God!!! He’s amazing, and I love Him and could not imagine my life without Him!
I am full of adventure and love randomness! I am so excited to see how and where God is going to use me. I am just wanting to love God without limits. I am willing to be stretched and broken! I am His!
