There is so much to be thankful for. I am blessed beyond words.
i can’t seem t find the words right now to be “deep” or “profound” but what I do want to say is that I am excited for what is JUST AROUND THE CORNER! I’ve stopped counting down the days so that can just be blessed and enjoy every day that I do have left at home.
The weather’s been cold. There’s snow on the ground. Christmas is arriving fast. I’m trying to get over a cold that has me bogged down – and talking a lot less – as I hardly have a voice! I would love to have energy, as my cousin is here visiting from Ontario, and I still have things that need to be done before I leave at the end of the month! However, I am also just enjoying being able to be quiet and rest and listen to the voice of God during this time!
This is a busy season, but let’s not forget the true reason for this season. It’s not for the gifts we give or receive, but for the love of our Father who was sent to earth as a small child. This child grew up and saved my life and I am forever grateful to Him for that. There’s so much faith, worship, change, love and care that is apart of this season. Let’s give all glory to God for what is, what was and what will be. He knows it all!
A verse that I heard on Sunday spoke volumes to me. Daniel 12:3 “Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.” Let’s all shine brightly this Christmas – and be radiant from the inside out. It was the star that led the wise men to Jesus. We too can lead others to Jesus, and can be a star shining BRIGHT in the DARKNESS. It’s amazing what one star can do…it’s even more vibrant when all the stars come together. One small light means there is an absence of darkness…together, we can illuminate all that surrounds us! Don’t keep your light to yourself…share it.
