We just finished our last few days of ministry. Majority of the kids came to the Cowshed over the weekend for games and a time away from Remar. It was amazing to see their faces react to the simplest things – the mountains, fields and animals! We had a great time and will miss them all. We finished painting the walls at Remar, with scripture, Romans Road and other artistic pictures, and are ready to head out to Durban, with Koinonia, for a few days debrief before parting ways into our last month in Africa – ATL!

Praying into ATL was not as easy as we expected. We have all spent time individually and as a team the past month or two praying into where God is leading us for our Africa ATL month! None of us were coming up with the same thing…God was speaking, but it was something different to everyone! Namibia, South Africa, Lesotho, Egypt…desert, city, west, south…so we kept praying and seeking God!

As our time in Swazi was coming to an end and our “deadline” for ATL was coming to a close, we still had no clear answer! God, we know you are speaking, but why is it all different…where do you want us to go? Were we praying in our flesh or in the Spirit? Was there a right and a wrong place to go, or was God going to bless us regardless!?

As we prayed our last night before needing to reveal our location, we gathered around the fire and after praying, were able to determine we would either be heading to Lesotho or Namibia. We all felt like God was saying our team leader, Kim, needed to make the decision, and we placed our trust in her, prayed for her, and walked away, all being okay with wherever we would end up!

The next day, Kim shared with us that we would be heading to Lesotho! She breathed a sigh of relief, and we all felt confident that God would bless us, lead us and do great things this month. Now we know our Country…but where in Lesotho!? So once again, we prayed…we all got different answers again, looked at maps, and kept praying! Right now, we are still not sure. We have a few leads…some God moments through e-mails and visitors at the Cowshed, yet still no set destination!

A fact about Lesotho – it is not a warm Country this time of the year…in fact, we are expecting SNOW, as it is very mountainous!!! It has been said that it is the highest altitude Country in the world, as the lowest altitude (4,600ft) in Lesotho is the highest in the world!

Another interesting fact about this month is that we would not be heading to Lesotho alone. Being an all-girls team heading once again into a country that no World Race teams have entered, not having a ministry contact or a destination point, AIM felt that having a guy with us would add to our safety…so, my dear brother, Cameron, will be joining us this month. Koinonia will “lose” a member and us GW’s will “gain” a member. It will be an interesting and different month for both teams, but we know that God is going to do great and mighty things in both!

Please continue to pray for us as we seek God, trust Him and listen to His voice. This ATL month is already proving to be different than our last one (as we do not already have anything set up entering Lesotho) yet know that God is going with us so we have nothing to fear! Pray that Cameron will not feel “isolated” on our team, being the only male, and that we will look for every opportunity in front of us to do His work…not just upon our arrival, but as the journey as a whole!
