Awaken the Dream

 

This past week, I have had the blessing of being apart of the first ever Awakening Conference – a place where over 200 past and present racers, as well as staff gathered together in Brasov, Romania to worship our God and King and BRING KINGDOM! It was a time to be refreshed, renewed, encouraged, inspired, stretched, wrecked and poured into spiritually!

 

It’s hard to put into words the last few days. I am not who I was coming into this conference. I was shaken and moved. I met people from other Squads who touched my heart and my life – through the hard moments crying together, the spiritual moments praying together, and the fun moments dancing together!

 

The Holy Spirit has stirred a passion inside each one of us. We have come to life. Realizing that we – H SQUAD – is the oldest Squad on the field hit us hard. With only two months left, our focus began to switch from being here on the Race to going home and future plans. This conference came at a perfect time. God knew we needed it. To be able to be hit hard where we needed it to get us to rise up to the challenge of finishing STRONG! The younger Squads were able to have so much enthusiasm and passion and just ate up everything. It gave us a glimpse into what we must have looked like at the beginning of the race…Why let it slip away!? We will never know it all…we are always learning!  

 

I believe the next two months will be the best of the Race. I am so excited about what is to come, and about the dreams, visions and heart God has given me. The words spoken over me are still ringing in my ear. Truth. Speak Life. Walk in Faith…one step at a time. Love. Peace. Confidence. God knows, so why doubt!?   

 

I am still in Romania, awaiting to hear where our next destination will be…but it won’t get me down. In the meantime, I’m going to enjoy time with my Squad, my friends, and my family!
