I woke up early Saturday morning to a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a card from two Godly men, Dave and Zack, whom I love and appreciate dearly. It was a wonderful surprise that started the morning off in amazing ways, as the sun was rising for another gorgeous day. This just happened to be the beginning…
We left for lunch – cheeseburgers and fries at the local cafe – before heading to the beach for the afternoon. Upon returning to the house, we found chocolates and handmade vases out of paper…once again, the guys spoiling us and treating us like royalty! It was amazing and touched my heart. It was unexpected and moved us to tears of joy…lots of hugs and love filled this Jacmel house!
It was hard to be away from those I love back home for Valentine’s Day, but I felt to loved, accepted and appreciated here not only by these men, but by the love of my Father. To be able to spend a day in his presence was a beautiful thing. I was astonished at the simplicity of the day and the love that was overflowing from every one of us.
Valentine’s is a day to feel and show love…single, dating or married…at home or away…it’s still a day full of love! Let me just say that this Valentine’s Day was the best I have ever experienced…
Love is not forced. That’s what I love about the love of my life. God doesn’t force his love on me or on any of us. It’s a choice. I am so grateful for His love and how he is and has been blessing me. I am being romanced. I am being swept of my feet. Every day is filled with a new surprise and love letter from Him.
God has been giving me and showing me love in new ways every day. This month has been filled with love – some good, some hard – but all bringing him glory in the end! I am in love and I’m not going to hide it! I want everyone to know my love, because not only do I love him, but he loves me! He loves you as well! This love is strong and pure and right and real. It’s divine. It’s the most amazing love you will ever experience. Grab a hold of His love for you today, and love him back…not because you have to, but because you want to. It’s glorious.
