It’s not my ability, but my response to God’s ability, that counts.

I had a moment. Kind of a breakdown moment that resulted in me addressing my feelings of inadequacy. Yes me, myself and I are inadequate but if I am willing to let God step in, I am more then able to take on anything He calls me to do. If it’s preaching in front of a congregation of people or lead a Bible study or help someone with a problem they are facing or be a valuable asset to my team. Maybe it’s as simple as approaching the person in the corner and giving them a hug or striking up a conversation. I am ready to carry out whatever God asks me to do!
I had to surrender my feelings of not being smart enough, emotional enough, strong enough or helpful enough and declare that I can be all those things when God works through me. I challenge you to face those insecurities and toss them to God. See what God can do through you 🙂
It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.
Psalm 18:32
Getting my share of physical activity as well; God answered my prayers since running daily is my norm back home. We had the chance to play soccer against a girl’s team at a school for troubled teens. As you can see they exhausted us…and yes, that is sweat. Proof that I do sweat and am sweating plenty in the afternoon heat down here!
