Already fitting in with the Salvadorians!

We got down and dirty with a pupusa making lesson for our dinner  🙂

Description: A corn-based dough, flattened, filled then fried on the griddle. Filling options- pork, beans, cheese, veggies-zucchini/cilantro/lime/spinach. You gotta pinch the edges closed and then pat if flat. We had some interesting shapes and our didn’t look as pretty as Dina’s, Pastor’s wife, but they tasted great with the homemade tomato dipping sauce and curtido, a spicy coleslaw. No silverware required for this meal 😛

1 Corinthians 10:31

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

We had so much fun preparing our meal with the Pastor and his family. They have been so hospitable and taking great care of us. Nothing like feeling part of the family and enjoying what God has blessed with. Any task can be turned into a ministry, even a simple thing like cooking a meal and enjoying great food together.
