A couple of weeks ago I was getting discouraged and a bit overwhelmed with my fundraising undertaking. I was feeling stuck. How am I going to raise all this money? What fundraisers can I pull off? I was out with a couple great friends and they offered great ideas and were more than willing to help. I was so surprised at their reaction and excitement with throwing out ideas and how they can help. I was taken by surprise but they re-ignited the flame inside to spark my motivation. I snagged up the offer for help and , thanks to Chelise, going around her neighborhood with these great fliers!

It is an amazing feeling to have friends so supportive and willing to help. We created this great idea and in one night they are helping me raise a chunk for my trip. No, I am not going to raise all my support with cans and coins but realized every effort counts and will pay off. I am looking forward to going around and getting the community involved; not to mention the fun, quality time I get with friends in the process.

Through planning this fundraiser I have realized I am not alone in my efforts. Financial support is not the only way. My friends are supporting me with their time and volunteering to help me in different fundraising efforts. I have more people than I know who are praying for me. I have others asking how things are going and giving me advice and encouragement. I need keep this in my focus so I do not get discouraged. God is providing in more ways than financial support.

Thank you all for supporting me in every way I need!

So who is it going to be? Falcons or Patriots? Having a party?

Let me know if I can take your cans off your hands 🙂 or if you aren’t having a party see what coins you have in between your cushions, I’ll put them to good use.
