Hello everyone! I am so excited that y’all took the time to come to my page and get to know me a little better. My name is Jenna Pipkin and I am from Houston, Texas. I am on fire for my savior Jesus Christ and he has called me to proclaim his name in all corners of the world. I will keep y’all updated with my race but on this page I want to tell y’all a little bit about myself.

1.  Traveling- Since I was younger, I have been blessed to have the opportunity to travel the world with my family. Through visiting other countries, I fell in love with other cultures and languages. This inspired me to do an exchange year in Brazil the past year. Although, I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to find a church or community of Christians, the Lord provided an amazing church and a wonderful bible study group. I was able to create amazing relationships and share the gospel with my friends in Portuguese which fueled my desire to do missionary work internationally. I always have felt God calling me oversees for mission work and while I was in Brazil, he taught me to trust in him because his ways are way better that anything I could have ever imagined. Before I went there, I was doubtful of finding community, but the Lord answered all of my prayed and concerns beautifully and used me in ways that I never would have thought of.

2.Coffee- I LOVEE coffee. If you are ever looking for me, you will probably find me at a coffee shop. I have always found coffee fascinating and not only the drink itself but the way that it brings people together. I have met so many people, deepened so many relationships, had bible studies, and created so many memories at coffee shops. I am currently working at a local coffee shop called “Bird House” and I love it so much!

3. Family- My family is everything to me! They have always been so encouraging and loving and raised me to love Christ with all my heart, soul, and mind. One of the hardest challenges going into this race will be leaving them for 9 months. I will actually become an aunt in December because my sister is currently pregnant!!! I am so excited to meet my little niece but I will be heart broken to say good bye to her next year:(

4. Above all else, my identity is in Jesus Christ! I was raised in the church and I have always had a hunger to get to know Christ better. He has shown me his love, mercy, and kindness, and I have surrendered my life to glorify Him and to expand his kingdom. He has transformed my life and I want everyone to get to experience His unconditional love and fall in love with the creator of the universe.

Thank you so much for reading and I am so excited to get to share my journey in expanding Christ’s kingdom with you.
