Hello there!
Bare with me, this is my first time writing a blog post. So about me, I am 26 years old currently living in Shawnee, KS. I have three sisters, a loving mother and father. I also have six amazing nieces and nephews. Family is incredibly important to me and we are very close. My parents raised all of us church, thankfully allowing God to have a huge influence on my life. I now attend Lenexa Baptist Church and love my church family. My life to this point has been fairly typical of your average American.

You may be wondering then why the World Race? And why now? It was all God’s timing and God’s will for my life. My entire life all that I have ever wanted to do and what has brought so much joy to my life has been sharing the limitless, awe inspiring and life giving love of Christ. With that in mind, earlier this year I jumped into doing more volunteer work with my church and loved every experience. At the same time I started listening to Stephanie May Wilson’s podcast called Girl’s Night. Stephanie spoke a few times about her time on the World Race which peaked my interest. I then began researching and learning more about the World Race. The Lord was stirring my heart to take the first step and fully trust God to guide my future. Which has lead me to here.
