Today I was having a conversation with a friend from work, I had just given her my prayer card and we were just having a light conversation. She then asked when I was leaving for my journey, I told her and then she said “It doesn’t start in September, your journey starts now”. Which is a 110% right! When I committed to follow God and he presented me with this journey I didn’t ‘sign’ up to start when I leave but to start NOW.
Preparing for this spiritually, physically and financially. I am still in school, working and involved in my normal church activities which sometimes takes up all my time and I become so wound up I forget to focus on what I need to do NOW to prepare for what lies ahead.
In less than six months I will be leaving. In less than six months I will have to give my family a huge hug and say “see ya soon”.. I’m not convinced that my brothers will miss me because they keep asking me when I leave because they plan on turning my room into a man cave and driving my car. Side note haha, but anyways time is creeping up slowly and I’m starting to realize how fast time goes by!
