A few weeks back, I made a post asking for family and friends to consider making friendship bracelets for me to take on the Race. Now that the idea is fully formulated, I wanted to tell you a little more about the project.
The beauty: The people I meet on my travels and build relationships with are the beauty in this project. No matter where they live, what they wear, age, gender, race- it doesn’t matter. We are all God’s creations and beautiful and made in His image. If possible, every month before I leave the ministry I‘m at, I’ll be featuring pictures of the people who I give bracelets to. This collage over the 11 months will demonstrate the beauty of God’s people all over the world, connected by the bracelets made by friends back home.
The bracelets: The bracelets are a small symbol of friendship and love with the recipients. A bracelet is something you can always wear, reminding you of the person who gave it to you. In this case, my hope is that the people who wear them will remember God’s love when they look at them, knowing there are people who care about them even when they aren’t physically there.
I’ve been so overwhelmed by the support and the amount of people who want to get involved! And there’s still time to make bracelets for me to take around the world if you want to! These can be string friendship bracelets, and I’ve even had some youngsters making rainbow loom rubber band bracelets! If you’d like to get involved, please mail them by August 27th so I can get them in time before I leave. Or, if you live close, I can pick them up, too! You can send them to:

If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Thank you again to those who have already made and sent me bracelets, you all rock! And don’t forget, it’s not too late to get involved, love you all!
God bless,
Jenna
