Would you like to meet my new family? The women that I'll spend every moment of every day for months with? I mean, I know that I've waited for this moment of truth for a very long time. Before even meeting the warriors that will go on this journey with me, I had prayed for my team. I had cried for them, fought for them and thought about them. I had thought about the hundreds of scenarios, the possibilities of teammates. When the day finally came during training camp to announce teams, I was ready. I thought that I would freak out, I thought that I would be disappointed. Not even in the slightest.

These women will be my family, and I could not be more excited. They are fierce warriors for our Father, and I look forward to serving with them. We are truth tellers, conquerors, royalty. We shall take hold of the identity we have in God, and never look back. We will declare freedom for the oppressed, mourn with the brokenhearted, release the prisoners. We will heal the sick, cast out demons, and declare the kingdom.
Our team name comes from Isaiah 61. We are going to bestow crowns of beauty for ashes. We will bring joy instead of mourning, praise instead of despair.
I personally couldn't be more excited. Please be praying for us as we prepare to leave in the beginning of September.
