God does not call the qualified; He qualifies the called.

My name is Jenna Lee Kehrli. And no, it’s not one word like ‘Sarah Lee.’ Just ‘Jenna,’ if you please. My father wanted Jennifer Lee and my mother wanted Jenna Lynn, so they compromised… or so I’m told. I was born in Jacksonville, FL on October 31, 1984 (best birthday ever!!) on the Jax Naval Base (10 days late… stubborn even before I was born, my mother says 🙂
I grew up in Jacksonville, and then Orlando, FL. God has blessed me with a fabulous mother, a huge, crazy, and absolutely amazing extended family, and two wonderful fathers in this life – a dad who died young and a step-father who has always loved me like his own.

I have awesome friends, half of whom I’ve known since my high school theater days. After graduating from the University of Florida with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies: Film & Media in 2006, I went west and began my adventures out here in Cali. I graduated from the Directors Guild of America Trainee Program in early 2010 and am currently an Assistant Director for film and television.
I have never been on a mission trip, but for the past year, I have felt that God has been leading me, calling me, tapping me on the shoulder, if you will, and saying you have more in you – more to give, more to be, more to do. And so, here I am. Signed up for The World Race. Praying for the courage to go, and the money to come; for the wisdom to hear, the words to speak, and the heart to love.

This is my prayer –

Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
– Philippians 4:11-13

finish each day and be done with it. you have done what you could. some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. tomorrow is a new day. you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.  – emerson
