“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the
Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.

GO!
I am sending you out like lambs among wolves. Do not take a purse, or bag, or
sandals, and do not greet anyone on the side of the road…He who listens to you,
listens to me; he who rejects you rejects me; but he who rejects me rejects him
who sent me…

I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and
to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

Luke 10

It is time to GO!

As most of you probably know, God allowed me to graduate
from Lee University early and go all the way to Kenya for 3 months this past
January-April. Needless to say, He radically transformed my life. He showed me
His love in a whole new way. He let me experience a community of believers who would
drop everything to follow the Spirit’s leading. And He opened my eyes to the working
of the Holy Spirit and how alive He is in this world.

While there, half way around the world, I was able to spend
a lot of time with some people in the Internally Displaced Camps. There, three
of my other teammates and I fell in love with the people. Our hearts were
completely shattered as we sat with them in the torn tents when the rain came
through, as we handed out the only food they would get for an entire week, as
we sang worship songs and danced, and as we listened to them explain the horror
they went through over the past three years. Needless to say, our hearts broke.

Camp Vision

Here is a little background… In 2007 President Kibaki was
elected to serve another term. Riots broke out between 41 tribes and violence
consumed Kenya. People were ruthlessly killed, houses and businesses were
burned, and people began to flee
. The government gave them land and told them
to wait till the violence settled down… three years later… they are still
there. You can read more about it at our website www.campvision.weebly.com.

These people might be forgotten by their government, they
might be forgotten by their friends and family, but they are NOT forgotten by
God.

“I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the
palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me. Isaiah 49:16

God did not send me all the way to Kenya, to see these
faces, to witness their pain and suffering, for me to leave after three months.
He sent me there to tell them that their God has not forgotten them. He sent me
there for MORE.

So what now you might ask? Three of my teammates (Kelli
Miller, Liz Martin, and Logan Pace) and I have decided that God is calling us to GO
and help these people. He has put a God-size vision to help them get out of
this poverty and truly find strength and peace in the Lord. At the end of
October we are all moving to Gainesville Georgia to pursue this vision that God
has placed so heavily on our hearts. We will be under Adventures In Missions
(AIM) where they will help guide us in making our vision a reality. We will be
there for 6 months learning from the staff on how to bring healing and
restoration to I.D.P.

Please join us in praying for this vision. Pray that God
would continue to make it clear that His hand is in it all. Pray that God would
give us clarity in what and why we are doing this. Pray that God would
ultimately get the glory in every part of this process and that He would unify
us together so that we would be a strong force for the Kingdom.

Thank you for your support and prayers. If you feel that God
is leading you to support me, or one of my teammates, for these next 6 months I
would greatly appreciate it. I know that because this vision is from God, that
He will provide the means to make it happen. I cannot do this without you! We
are all part of the body of believers, and this body must work together to move
towards Jesus and bringing His Kingdom to this earth. I need to have $3,000 in
my account by October
in order to begin my ministry and my monthly goal is
$1500
per month. If God is calling you to support me on a monthly basis or even
give a one time gift please click the “Support Me tab on the left bar.

Again,
thank you so much for being a part of my life. I cannot explain to you enough
what a blessing you have been. I have ultimately realized the power of the Holy
Spirit and I cannot image doing anything else with my life then to completely
surrender to God’s Kingdom.
