I woke up early this morning to finish packing and to continue reaching out to the small list of contacts that we have obtained from other teams and Latvian friends. I was under stress due to the fact that we were leaving for Kaunas, Lithuania in a few hours, and we didn’t have a place to stay once we got there. However, I felt The Lord telling me to relax, rest in Him, and he is going to direct me exactly where he wants us to go (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Therefore after some quality time with The Lord, I realized that He has been at work in Kaunas long before I was even born. As we left for the bus station, we still had no place to stay, but my team and I had full confidence that The Lord was going to provide for us. Little did I know, that 5 minutes before boarding our bus to Kaunas, I would receive an email telling me that we would have a free place to stay for the night!
For those of you that don’t know, Team F.I.E.R.C.E will be doing a different type of ministry this month that is known as Unsung Heroes. Instead of having a specific ministry contact, we will be traveling around Lithuania trying to establish places for us to stay, potential contacts for future teams, and uncovering ministries that would normally be overlooked. There will be many situations very much like the one I just described where things will seem impossible, but I am confident in the fact that what seems impossible with man is possible with God (Mark 10:27).
This month is going be different than anything else I have ever experienced before, but I am more than excited to watch how The Lord is going to provide for our team as we collectively and individually seek His face! Please be praying for wisdom, discernment, and guidance for our team as we pursue whatever The Lord has for us this month.
P.S. Because of monthly donations that my account will be receiving until July 1st, my final support deadline, I am about $1600 short of being fully funded for the year. If you have any questions about how to donate to my support account, feel free to email me at [email protected].
