Adventures in Missions www.adventures.org World Race www.worldrace.org:

Dear family and friends,

I hope this finds you doing well. I want to share with you what I’m up to. As some of you may know, I am not the same person that I was a year ago. After a very painful seven year battle with addiction, depression, and anxiety, I finally gave up on pretending I had it all together and surrendered my life completely to Christ. I was running in a trajectory towards death and He turned me around with His love and mercy. For about a year now I have been living in Prescott, Arizona working as an in home caregiver and establishing a life here. While I was driving to work recently, I prayed that God would send me wherever he wanted me. I didn’t really expect anything to come out of that prayer but a couple days later I saw the World Race online and I couldn’t stop thinking about it and coming back to it. After a lot of prayer I knew that I had to apply. I didn’t think I had a chance of being chosen, but I am learning that Gods plan always prevails and so here I am planning for the journey of a lifetime.

I will be going to 11 countries in 11 months sharing the love of Jesus Christ. The cool thing about the World Race is it’s not just a mission trip, it’s an intensive discipleship training program designed to launch our generation into our specific kingdom calling. My team and I will partner with local churches and ministries to share the gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restorative hope of the Fathers love to the nations. The countries I will be going to are: India, Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Greece, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Botswana, Swaziland, and South Africa.

This is a challenging and unpredictable road that lies ahead. I feel like I am jumping off of a cliff and trusting God to catch me. I’m so excited to see what He is going to do in my life and the lives of the people I will meet and to share it with you as I go. I cannot do this alone so I am asking you to join me by putting your faith in what God is doing and offering prayer support because I believe in the power of prayer. I will also need financial support; I have to raise $17,017 by January 2017 to cover all of the costs of living and travel for the 11 months.   Any way that you can contribute would be greatly appreciated. Every little bit will help. To make a donation online, you can go to my blog site at: bausjenna.com. Please make checks payable to Adventures in Missions and return the response card with your donation to: Adventures in Missions PO Box 534470 Atlanta, GA, 30353-4470.
