It doesn’t even seem real that I’m 25 or that I’m in Bangkok, Thailand entering month 5 of the craziest trip imaginable! As I sat down, pen and journal in hand, I wanted to write 24 things I learned at 24 or some other really cool thing and instead all that came out was a messy & scattered journal entry of thanks that I feel led to share. So, here goes…
Thank you, Papa for being so faithful and getting me to this point. Thank you for all of the amazing people and experiences you’ve allowed in these years of life. Abba, please don’t let me take a single moment for granted. I want to be grateful for everything, especially YOU! Thank you for walking beside me not only these past couple of years but my whole life, even when I didn’t know it. Thank you for showing me what true life and love is. Thank you for picking my life-less body off of the ground countless times; even when nobody saw. Thank you for the innumerable miracles you performed to keep me safe that were truly acts of mercy and relentless love. Thanks for all the angels you dispatched on my behalf. Thank you that you don’t give up on your children nor do you ever stop wanting us. Thank you for two years of my adult life that have been spent without drugs or alcohol flowing consistently through my veins. Thank you for your Spirit and life that flows through my veins. Thank you for filling these past couple years with boundless supernatural growth, revelation, joy, peace, and precious time basking in your glorious presence. Thank you for this once in a lifetime opportunity to travel the world telling souls about your Son, Jesus. Savior of the lost. The only thing in this world that truly matters. Thanks, Father for being so exciting and awe inspiring. For calling us to lives of exhilerating moments and passionate encounters. Thanks for leaving us with Your Spirit and Your Word. Thanks for family. Friends. Change. Dancing. Thunder. Rain. Laughter. Birth. And Eternal Life. Thanks for whatever else you’ve got planned for me, Lord. My life is yours and I’m excited to walk the rest with You.
Love, Jenna
As I prayed over this new season in my life the word I felt the Lord give me was passion. I don’t know what that implies but I am excited to find out. I am grateful for each person reading this..that you have chosen to be a part of the journey with me. It means a lot. Here’s to being a quarter of a century old, Thailand, and new adventures! More to come soon… 🙂
