We are in Greece!
No it is not a vaction.
The first few days here were but now we are fully engaged in ministry. This month my squad gets the beautiful privilege of spending time with Refugees. It’s only been a few days and God has been teaching us some some amazing things.
My team is helping at a place called The Octagon, it’s a place for refugees to come and get food from the food pantry, shower, and get new clothes. I met a woman named Johanna from Nigeria and she had such a beautiful smile and was very kind and let me pray for her and help her. She even let me help her find toys and clothes for her 7 year old daughter and 3 year old son. It was a nice, gentle and rewarding day.
Today my team split up and went out into the city and did some prayer walks. Everyone’s prayer walks looked different but for Rae and I we wanted to really push ourselves. We walked around for awhile and didn’t really know what to do or what we were doing already. We walked passed this homeless man with his small child and I stopped and looked at Rae and asked her if she felt anything, butterflies, holy spirit, the voice of God? Nothing. And the same for me. Then I said, wait! Would going over there make us uncomfortable? Both of us answered yes and walked over, met the man and his son. He let us pay for him and we left. As we walked away Rae and I talked and had both noticed the child seemed very healthy but the dad was just bones (starving). He gives everything to his son and leaves nothing for himself. We them decided to go get bread, bananas and water.
We walked back to give them some food and water, but they were gone. Saddened, Rae and I kept walking and handed out food and water to people on the street begging. We made another friend, he name was Maria she is 20 and her son David who is 3 (David pictured below). Rae prayed over them and I sat on the ground and just made faces and smiled and laughed with David as he ate the banana. While all this is happening an elderly man walks up and admires our kindness and takes 5 minutes to search his pockets for any form of change, he does and gives it to Maria. Rae and I learned that we all should already know and that is to pass it forward.

So today I encourage you, be kind, do something kind for someone else and someone might notice and also do something kind. I know we know this works but sometimes we just need to be reminded that God works in little ways too.
Also as a little side note I am only $330.32 away from being fully funded so if you could help me out in any way and donate I would very much appreciated it.
Thank you all and God Bless!
