Hello for the Philippines!!

I’m sorry it’s taken so long to get this up here, I’m sure you’re all dying to hear about where I am, what I’m doing, and how it’s all going.

So here it is:

I am currently about an hour outside of Manila, which is the capital of the Philippines. For our first month out we are staying together as a squad, which means that there are 42 of us all in one area… Slightly overwhelming but thankfully the ministry we are working at has plenty of things to keep us all very busy.

Which brings us to what we are doing, we have partnered with an organization called Kids International Ministry or K.I.M. which has their hands in just about every ministry imaginable. The Lord has blessed their efforts and allowed them to expand to working with everything from their own school with 200+ kids, a pregnancy clinic, and mass feeding in different neighbourhoods to working with trafficked women, prison ministry, and a home for abused girls. As I said, there is plenty to keep 42 people busy. I and my teammates have worked in construction, teaching at an elementary school, serving at the feedings, and soon we will be partnering with them to scout a new area to target trafficking.

In our first couple weeks being out it has been so good to see the ways God is not only moving here in Manila, but also how He has already started to change and effect the team. I am so excited to see what our next country, Malaysia, has in-store for us!

As far as fundraising goes, I am still in need of about $2000 to be fully funded for the remainder of my time on the field. Please be praying that God will provide the funds especially since fundraising overseas is such a bigger challenge than doing it at home.

Thank you all for your help, support, and prayers leading up to this! I would not be here without you all and what the Lord has laid on your heart to give.
