Ok I just returned from an AWESOME trip to Russia with a group of men from my church.  We were so blessed to be a part of what  God is doing in people’s lives half way across the world (literally, it was a 12 hour time difference from Alaska).  We did a lot in 1 week and I’m still not sure what all I want God wants me to share.

So for starters here is a blog about the 3 days we spent leading an English camp on the outside of St. Petersburg.  My friend John made it a goal to teach every Russian we met the word Awesome, so here is a list of ways I think “Awesome” translated well.

Playing spoons is Awesome

We played tons of games at the English camp.  It was such a good time to hangout and connect.

Food on a stick is Awesome
e.g. roasted marshmellows

We had lots of conversation about food and made smore’s around a camp fire.

Bobbing for Apples is Awesome

We put on a fall festival for the Russian students full of fun games and food.

God is Awesome

I got to share my testimony and talk about what God  is currently doing in my life

Jesus is Awesome

Our Group is Awesome

Love, Joy, and Laughter are Awesome
And need no translation

In the 3 days at the English camp we got to meet some amazing Russians.  We helped them with their English but also got to love them, laugh with them, and show them that God gives us our joy.
