Thank you for the sending us out to spread the Gospel, it is such an honor to be able to tell others of God’s love all over the world.
Our last Sunday there was a great service to end on, even though it was still hard to leave. It started off with me leading the coffee and greeting team and Jenn serving on greeting first service. I loved serving at the church and was glad to be able to serve alongside others on my last Sunday. Then, Josh prayed for us and over us both services and we got to announce that we are fully funded (because of your support). Knowing that we have continued support from the entire church and that prayers are preceding us makes it easier to go to the unknown. Toward the end of the service, we got to see friends we had made get baptized. I will always remember the joy I felt in that moment. It is amazing how God uses iron to sharpen iron and how just sharing life and struggles together can build others up. We entered into a time of worship and I just enjoyed the presence of God, especially when it ended with us singing ‘Send Me Out’. Then it was time to say goodbye, so many hugs. I knew the love that is ‘The Church’, that no matter where I go the body of believers will be there to love and support me. As I leave I know God is at work, there are several places that He is raising up others to take my place. I am excited to see what He continues to do in their lives and in the Church. I wait in holy anticipation to see what God will do with the next year and to return to see the growth that has occurred in people’s lives. I look forward to sharing what God is doing through stories, pictures, and videos to encourage you and build up your faith as well.
God, thank you for that beautiful Sunday and how you pour out your blessings upon me.
