Wow, This morning I realized the coolest thing, not sure how I hadn't seen it before! Adventures in Missions (the organization behind The World Race) partners with Food for the Hungry to sponsor children. So here is how it works: you get to sponsor a child in need and help us raise funds at the same time. For every child sponsored through our blog we get $50 toward our mission. Jenn and I sponsor Isaac from Ghana and it has been one of the coolest things we have ever done. We love getting letters from him and sending him birthday and Christmas gifts. The letters let us know how we can pray for him, his family, and his community. It’s SO easy, for about $1 a day YOU can change someone’s life by providing food, clean water, sanitation, medical care and a chance to go to school. Another cool part about doing it through us is that I’ve heard about Racers getting to meet their sponsored child. If you sponsor a child from a country we will be going to, we would make an effort to meet them personally. How about it? All you have to do is click HERE or the “Support your World Racer by sponsoring a child” picture on the left side of our blog. If you have any questions I would love to talk you about sponsorship or you can go to the website for more info on Food for the Hungry, they have a ton of info on who they are and how your support makes a difference.
Let me just say thank you so much for considering this! I know its a commitment, but it will change your life 🙂
