So, this month we have lived in the amazing place known as Uganda- this country has a huge piece of my heart.  We lived in a house/compound with a total of 30 people at one point.  This was 16 racers in a 5 bedroom house; Pastor Joseph and his wife Freda, 2 daughters, a helper, and a group of younger boys from the boarding school living in the quarters behind the house. It was great!  God showed me to focus on love this month and how to love better.  This includes my team, our contacts, and our ministry.  Mission accomplished God!  I have cried at some point the entire last week here just thinking about leaving.  Wrecked again!

Here is kind of what learning love this month looked like:  I looked through scripture and found what God spoke on love, how His love was displayed, and how He commanded me to love.  I read the books “Love Does” and “Seven” and learned how to put love into action.  Then, I asked The Lord every morning to show me how to love today, who I was to love, and soak up His love for me.

This is a few scriptures on love I put together:

God is Love

Abide in My Love,
Because Love is the greatest.
Heart. Soul. Mind. Strength.
Love your neighbor;
Love one another;
Love your enemies.
Love builds up,
So pursue Love.
Put on Love.
Live a life of Love.
Do good. Bless. Pray. Lend. Honor. Serve.
God SO Loved He GAVE His Son

Love is…
Patient. Kind. Faithful.
It protects, trusts, hopes, perseveres.
Love NEVER Fails.
Love is NOT…
Proud. Conceited. Vengeful. Envious. Boastful. Rude. Self-seeking. Easily angered.

The Fruit of the Spirit is Love…
Do everything in Love…
And this is the way of Love…

If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but do not love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate.
If I speak God’s word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day,
and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but I do not love, I’m nothing.
If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I do not love, I’ve gotten nowhere.
So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.
