Hello friends + family!
For the past few years I have had the privilege of teaching 2ndgrade at a wonderful elementary school that I love dearly. I have learned and grown so much from teaching; I considered my classroom as my mission field. However, for some time now I have had this strong feeling of doing something more (a spirit of being sent). I have known for a while that missions would be part of my life but I was not sure when, where, and what it would look like. The Lord has been preparing me through different discipleship programs as well as through teaching. God has opened so many doors during this season of my life, and one of them is the World Race!
The World Race is an 11 month missions trip around the world in which missional teams experience what the first generation of disciples did: feeding the hungry, healing the sick, and hearing the voice of God. It’s an ancient, simple model that still works and changes lives today. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities, plant churches, work in orphanages and minister to women and children trapped in human trafficking.
Because of your important role in my life, I’d like to share with you about where God is leading me to in this next season. He has given me the opportunity to be part of an amazing adventure sharing the love of Jesus and serve others around the world. I will be traveling to Mongolia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, and Greece. This is the reason I’m writing…
With that being said, there’s a few ways you can help! First and foremost, my squad and I will need and appreciate your prayers! This will be a stretching experience for all of us. Please pray for our health – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual; and that we would be open to letting God use and change us however He sees fit.
Secondly, I will be in need of financial support. Like most other missions’ organizations, World Race participants are required to fundraise financial support. In order to leave fully funded in August 2019, I need to raise $19,200.00. This money will cover all field expenses for the 11 months of the trip. I ask that you prayerfully consider supporting me.
