Hey Friends and Family,
This is the part of the letter where you get to read all the incredible ways that I was led to the decision to go on this outrageously awesome adventure. I know you are all wondering why I would choose to do something so amazing. Well, the first reason is that it really is AMAZING! You probably want to be doing it too. Which is totally okay, you can if you want! Haha! My whole life as a Christian has been dedicated to serving my Savior. He is, after all, the only One worthy of that. I felt called to missions from the moment I found out what it was. It was intriguing to my young Christian heart. My life verse ever since has been Psalm 2:8, “Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession.” That is a particularly good Psalm, but that verse has always made me so excited! In early 2011, I moved to Tri-Cities, Washington to be a part of my current church, New Vintage (Best Church EVER award). It has been the most incredible experience and God has certainly made the Tri my home. I LOVE it here. My heart still longs for other lands, for the “least of these”, and to grow in a way that only missions can grow you. The World Race is an amazing start to fulfilling this dream of mine, and I am so excited for you to be a part of it in a way. Thank you in advanced for all of your prayers and support as I “GO”, and “DO”.
There are two ways you can join me to help reach the nations. Give and pray. This is a terrifying season for me as I am trusting God to do what feels like the impossible for me. I have deadlines to meet. By the end of September I need to have about $4,000 dollars. My goal is to have raised $20,000 by this December, as I leave in January. It’s a huge and scary number for me but, I believe that because my Dad owns all the money in the world, He will do it, but I can’t do it alone! 
PRAY:
- I would love if you prayed for my heart to be teachable and ready for Jesus to change me.
- Pray that hearts would open to fund me.
- Pray that as I seek the Lord, He would meet me even deeper than before.
- Lastly, please pray for boldness for me as I step out in this terrifying next step of my adventure with God.
