Okay. That title probably didn’t make a ton of sense to you, but I’m glad you’re still reading! I realized this morning that I hadn’t written a blog in an entire month. So here goes!
I actually thought about writing a couple different blogs at the same time, because I have so many different things to say!
1st, I want to thank every body who has given to my Race. You all are AMAZING and I am so blessed by you. I was honestly really susurprised when I looked at who had given. People I’m not close with, even people I haven’t ever met! It’s amazing how God uses anyone. A lot of people I thought would be the first to jump on the “giving train” haven’t, and that’s okay I still have thousands of dollars to go. $15,000 to be exact. I’m praying for favor and that people would continue to give.
2nd, this entire process has taught me one really big thing: I want to be more like Jesus. Whatever that looks like, whatever the cost, at the end of my days I want to look boldly at the Throne of Grace and know I lived a life like Jesus wanted me to. Even if that means fundraising. hahaha! I am excited to continue on in this journey to become more like Him, even when it feels awful.
3rd, and this is my BIGGEST announcement, I am not leaving until July now. I am so excited to announce that I have decided to not leave until July and I have joined Route 2. I felt like God made that decision a long time ago, and I decided to be obedient. It is absolutely the most exciting thing I have to say right now. It is such a beautiful route and I know God is going to do huge things with me on this route. So now I don’t leave until 7/7!!!
