Dear Family & Friends,

For the past several years, I have been teaching English abroad and at home. It was incredible to have these diverse experiences where I got to teach, learn and grow immensely as I learned how to trust God. I have always had a heart to make a difference in people’s lives and now God is opening my eyes showing me how I can have the opportunity to bless others as I follow Him.

After working in Yellowstone National Park this summer, God put it on my heart to take a daring step and trust Him fully, knowing that where He calls me, He is faithful and He will make it come to pass! (1 Thessalonians 5:24)

Yellowstone Friends

While at Yellowstone camping with some friends, we stopped at a pizzeria and I learned that our waitress and her friend who worked there were getting ready to go on this trip with Adventures in Missions called “The World Race.” The World Race has you go to 11 countries in 11 months where you work and live alongside of the people you serve. This might include working at orphanages, visiting hospitals,  teaching English, planting churches, and sharing hope with women and girls stuck in human trafficking, as well as sharing God’s redeeming love with many people and nations. The goal is to spread a message of hope and love to all people as we partner with local churches and ministries. I am leaning on His promise that He has equipped me with everything good for doing His will. (Hebrews 13:21)

I will face many challenges all throughout the World Race, but as I prepare for my departure, one of my greatest challenges is my financial support. Like most other mission organizations, World Race participants are required to fund raise financial support. In order to leave fully funded at the beginning of July,  I need to have raised $16,266. This money will cover all of my field expenses plus the mandatory insurance as I live and work in these different countries for almost a year. I trust that as God has called me, He is faithful to provide and this is where I need your help. I know I cannot do this on my own and I would love for you to be a part of this journey with me. I know that in doing so, you will be blessed by seeing what amazing things God will be doing in many people’s lives!

As I take this huge step of faith, would you please take a moment to pray for God to show you how you can be a part of this adventure as well? Partnering with me looks like: reading and commenting on my blog, donating financially, and praying for me. Please prayerfully consider joining me at the amount that you feel called to give. Please consider becoming a monthly donor, as this will multiply the difference you can make.

Any amount, small or large, makes a HUGE difference and will go towards sending me to the nations. Whatever you are called to give, it is very much needed. You can make a huge difference in this way. It is much appreciated and means so much to me, as your gift is needed and valued immensely!

To give, the easiest way is to click on the orange “Support Me” tab at the bottom of the screen on the right hand side. To send a check, please make it payable to Adventures in Missions and write my name: Jennifer Silverman in the memo line. Mail it to P.O. Box 742570, Atlanta, Georgia 30374. Payment questions or need help? Call 1800-881-2461.

Please also ask me about my special prayer team as you feel called if you would like to commit to pray often as this is hugely important to be covered in prayer while serving God. I need prayer warriors to fight for me!
