I am sitting on a ledge, surrounded by trees, red flowers, and the beautiful city view of La Paz, Bolivia, the highest capital city in the world. I see a white cross lit up, glowing against the mountain backdrop, created by God’s hands. And that is where I sit now. In God’s hands. Even when I don’t understand. I am in His hands.
When I don’t feel loved, I’m in His hands. I am so loved by Him. I’m never not loved by God.
God, those were your words to me this morning. I am in your hands. God, you are in control. I trust in You. I am your beloved daughter. It’s not about doing. It’s about being. Being in God’s presence. My value is in who I already am as God’s child. It’s not about I do or don’t do. I can be in God’s presence first and He will show me what to do.
I asked God what is the one thing I should do to help my relationship with Him. What is the thing keeping me from moving forward?
“I want you to fall in love with Me.”
These are God’s words to me. This is what God wants of me every day.
“Seek first the Kingdom of heaven and His righteousness and all these things will be added onto you.” Matthew 6:33
It’s not about what we can get, though God promises to fill us. It’s about going after God and remembering He went after you first.
God wants you. He wants your attentions, your words, your pursuit. He wants you to choose Him first. He already chose you. He loved you first.
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us. From 1 John 4:10

My final deadline for the World Race! Help me to finish out the Race and continue in all that God has for me as I seek Him first. I am currently about $2700 away and I am not as worried as I might have been a few weeks ago thinking about the impending deadline. Because I trust Him and I know that He is faithful to provide, so if God is putting it on your heart to give- any amount helps, big or small. If He is calling you to give $1000, please take this step of faith and trust Him as He guides you, if He is calling you to give $500 or $250 or $100 or $25, please take that step now! I thank God for you in advance for seeking Him and being faithful to what He has placed on your heart or what He prompts you to give. I could not do this without you!
