Excited (and a little scared… 😉 to announce my CHALLENGING FUNDRAISERS!
This is an updated blog with new amounts reached & challenges to meet in honor of Giving Tuesday!
After the turkey and holiday shopping & time with family & friends, please consider donating to this cause that will send me literally around the world to the nations, so I can give of my time to help others!
It might be crazy to go around the world- 11 countries in 11 months. But there is ONE purpose for this- to share God’s crazy love and fall in love with Him like crazy again!
So without further ado, here are the challenges….drum roll, please!
Now it’s your turn to challenge me! Choose a challenge (or come up with your own!) support me, comment today with which challenge you would want to see me do and then make it happen by donating, sharing, (praying) and spreading the word like crazy! If the amount is raised, I will take on your challenge!
Send me out to the nations on the World Race this January! If you give today and the following amounts are reached through any number of people donating totaling these amounts (in addition to my previous total), I will take on these challenges!
So lets say 10 people donate totaling another $500, I will then dye my hair by popular vote!
- $175- Dye my hair a different color Amount reached-thank you! Milestone 1-Please help me reach the next eligible amounts in green by the deadlines below so I can go on the Race. Thank you a million!
- $275- Pie in the face
- $500- Dye my hair a color of YOUR choice– by popular vote
- $600 –Get hit with balloons full of paint
- $750 – Have a bucket of glitter dumped on my head –November 23
- $950 – Bike Riding: World Race Challenge (Will ride a certain and significant distance to make it challenging for myself and to represent the 11 countries I will be going to).
- $1400 Polar Bear Plunge -to jump into the freezing ocean for a good cause- I need you to make this happen by November 30th! So help me take the plunge into the freezing waters of the ocean for a good cause to send me out to the nations! I actually really want this one to happen as I am up for the challenge– so help me make this happen! Just click “Support Me” at the top of the page or click HERE. Brave arctic adventurers, join me!
- $2500- Run a 5K for the first time
- $4000 – Sky-diving (Free-falling from a greater height than bungee jumping, but you have an expert instructor to go with you and tell you when to jump.) 4000 by December 4th will get me to my goal!
- $6000- Climb A Mountain Challenge- World Race Style (Similar to the Bike Riding World Race Challenge- this will be representative of the 11 countries I will be going to). December 18th is when all checks need to be in for me to launch in January! I need your help to make this happen! Please send your checks in ASAP as it takes up to 2 weeks for processing or donate online!
- $7,500 – Do a Triathlon– (3 different events- Swimming, Cycling, and Running)
- $10,000 – Bungee Jumping: This is the one where YOU must have the courage to jump without an expert going with you. Falling headfirst, this takes a LOT of WILLPOWER! Join me?!
- $15,000 – (which would get me fully funded plus help me get my gear for the World Race!) YOU get to pick the torture – within reason.
