World race is more than 11 months of growing myself in faith and service, it’s learning a lifestyle of faith and honestly, I’ve struggled living that faith out lately.  I’m great with being stretched because it indicates hard work is needed. I love change because it indicates progress.  I’m great with challenge because it’s a puzzle to be solved. But when I’m required to endure beyond my capacity, beyond my ability, beyond my faith? Well that is the stuff of God. Of miracles.

So where is the miracle?

As many of you know that I’ve been praying for what feels like miracles the last few weeks as I prepare for World Race. 2 miracles to be exact. A full time job by June 1st and a place to live over the next 6 months in Lexington by May 1st (this Friday).

SPOILER ALERT: God is faithful when we are faithless. God answered with resounding faithfulness today in creating provision for me with a full time job! Something many of you have been praying for the last few months with me as I transition out of the apprenticeship at the church and into a community service role until World Race begins, so thank you friends!

But God’s not done. He’s answered 1 miracle, yes. But I believe that His promises are true and he provides in abundance and FULLNESS of joy. While I’m thankful for this job opportunity, I know He’s not done, I know He is MORE faithful.

But I honestly don’t think I’ve done my due diligence in asking for help to find a place to live in Lexington. Here goes some more faith for a God sized miracle…

So I am asking and believing that someone’s eyes are on this site for a reason. You have a spare room or a small pool house that the Lord is putting on your heart and mind right now to share.
I’m believing that a blessing is in your heart and mind, not for me, but for you. I’m believing for your trust in Jesus and I’m believing for the boldness he’s giving you. I’m believing with you that your obedience is not only a next step but a act of faith.  I’m believing for YOUR faith to be grown.  I’m believing that you are being stretched beyond your capacity and that you are being prepared for a God sized miracle.

Whether you share your home with me or someone else, thank you for being obedient. Thank you for stepping out in faith. I know it’s scary. I’m scared to death too. But I also know it’s SO worth it. Just look at God’s past faithfulness in your life — it’s only proof of His future provision friends.

Believe strong friends. Pray for miracles.

It’s the Lord’s faithfulness, not the strength of our prayers that answers them. Why not pray long and dream big together?
