Before you begin, put on all your clothes from your backpack.  Japan is very conservative with using heat.  It's a great way to save energy and money!

Cut up one whole cabbage and 7 green onions.  Shedata Sensei is the best at this.

Ask your friend, Sanami to cut up 2 onions.

Because it will probably make you cry.

Add Japanese bacon and saute.  Sorry America, Japanese bacon is better.

Add your cabbage and green onion and saute.

Way to go Shedata Sensei!

Add ten bags of yakisoba noodles and break up into your sauted veggies.

Prepare your condiments: Seaweed flakes and fish flakes.  If you cannot find, just use fishfood.  That's what it smelled like to me, but I don't like fish.

And don't forget the mayo.  If you thought America loved mayonnaise, just come to Asia and try "pizza".

Cost: Approximately $21 or 2100 Yen

Servings: Approximately 20.  Save for leftovers.  This could last you for 3 days of dinners!

Add a generous portion of yakisoba sauce.  I have no idea if this is in the states, but it tastes like soy sauce with vinegar.

World Race Budget approved?  HI HI HI!!!

Aragota, Japan!

Don't forget the tea!  Masahiro will serve this time.

Practice your Japanese while you sip on your tea.  You know you need it.

And then end the evening with a rousing game of thumb war.

 Shedata Sensei for the WIN!
