I have good news and bad news.

Bad news: I didn't finish my Kid's Creek blog before I got home.

Good news: I'M HOME!

I was only able to stay in South Africa, my last month on the World Race for one week.  My grandpa passed away so I came home 3 weeks early to say goodbye to him.  That meant that I missed the VBS that we were planning.

That's right.  South Africa has VBS too.  And I got to help plan it.  The only difference was that we had NO materials to plan it and almost $0 for our budget.  So that meant we got to be creative for the 33 kids that came every day for VBS the week I came home.

But that gave us a chance to see what God could do with what He DID give us!  Our theme was Moses and the 10 plagues.  We came up with games, free crafts, a drama, music and snacks.  And it was almost all free!

My favorite planning part was decorating with the cardboard and plants we got from outside.

One of my favorite crafts we came up with was using driftwood from the ocean.  We used them as Moses staff turning into a snake.  The kids painted faces on the wood.  They turned out so cute.

And now I'm home!  And I want to say thank you for praying for me.  What an amazing journey I had. God has given us each so much time to tell people about Jesus and it's an amazing adventure that I love living!  I hope you do too.

Love,

Jenni

ps – see you at church!
