I have never in my life fell in love with an actual place so much that I wanted to pick it up and move it to my home and then put all my people in it until I met Sombor in Serbia.  I love it's charm and how everything looks beautifully old.  I love how I've only been there one month and I started recognizing faces on the street and could run into people I knew just walking into town.  Here are other things I love or thought interesting about Sombor, Serbia.

Saying ciao.  It just sounds cool.

Hot Chocolat in Serbia is like warm chocolate pudding in a cup.

I think it's funny that Nes is on the menu in every coffee shop.  I really didn't expect that.

Losing five pounds in Albania just to gain it back in Serbia because the food is so delicious. And I had a gym membership!

I'm getting used to all the smoking.  But I'm not going to start!

Most doors in Serbia are difficult to close or just don't at all.

Serbian Plazma cookies are loved by everyone and are then put on the menu for flavors of crepes and gelato.  They taste like vanilla wafers.

Tomatoes are just better here.  And the cheese.

Smoky!  I'll be looking this up on Amazon.  They are like cheese curls minus the cheese plus peanut flavor and I love them.  It's a product of Serbia.

The best pizza in the whole wide world exists here!

Gelato is only 50 cents a scoop and is the best ice cream I've ever had.

The wedding tradition of having a cake room is brilliant.

A night life like no other – People staying up till 6am.  I've not experienced it.  I like my sleep.

Ketchup!  It's not like Heinz.  More like tomato sauce with spices and it's put on top of every slice of pizza.

10 of these are about food.  Must be why I gained 5 pounds.
