When you are lonely – You can do it.

When you are knocked down – You can get back up and rise against the challenge.

When you achieve greatness – You are the One who accomplished it.

When you don't have the answers – believe in Yourself.

When you are afraid – find courage in Yourself.

When you are happy – You deserved it.

When you are sad – You can push through it.

When you leave this earth – You finished.

From what I have gathered here living in China, making friends in China, asking questions here in China, this is the religion. It is not uncommon to me. I've seen this gospel before and often. This time it's different though. It comes with very little knowledge of Christ.  For many people I've talked to have never heard of Christ before until I mentioned His name to them for the first time.

What does this gospel mean, this gospel of me? II think it is very dangerous. And here's why.

When you are lonely – let's face it, it really is painful.

When you are knocked down – you need Someone greater to help you up.

When you achieve greatness – there was Someone who blessed you to get there.

When you don't have the answers – you just don't.

When you are afraid – there is no one to turn to to give you courage.

When you are happy – maybe you don't actually deserve it, but you've been blessed.

When you are sad – you need Someone to heal your pain.

When you leave this earth – you are dead.

This gospel of Me is missing something and I have found from my own experience of me, that I am only complete when Jesus Christ is right there for all the lonely, great, confusing, happy, scary and sad moments in my life.

And then when I leave this earth – He will be calling me to my real home!

Here is a man I met on the side of the road who learned something different from the gospel of Me.  He found his fullness in Christ and he shares it with all those who pass by as he writes scripture out for all to see.  We shared our favorite verses together.

His is John 3:16.  For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that who should believe on Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
