What’s The World Race you ask? Well…Let me tell you! The World Race is a Christian Missions trip through Adventures in Missions. With this missions trip we will visit 11 Countries in 11 months! I will be visiting Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Ukraine, Romania, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Thailand, Cambodia, and Malaysia. Approximately 50 of us, the “squad”, will travel to each Country together. Our squad will be broken down into teams of 5-8 people who we will spend the entire race with, living together, eating together, and doing ministries together. When we arrive in each country each team will meet with a contact who is a missionary already stationed there. We will help them with whatever project they are currently working on. We will build churches and houses for those in need, repave roads for safe travel, visit orphanages and love on the abandoned, pray for the sick in hospitals, preach to the lost in prisons, minister to those bound into human trafficking, help with VBS teaching the youth of God‘s love and more! Every month we will be in a different Country….11 in 11 J
I am so excited that God has called me into this ministry!! I’m looking forward to being able to really help people (more than just bringing people all you can eat soup, salad and breadsticks! Haha) To give hope to the hopeless, to feed the hungry, to heal the sick, and love the unlovable. I’m excited to see what God does in me, around me, and through me! This is going to be an awesome journey. I know it will be a life changing event. I’m looking forward to finding myself in Christ and becoming the woman of God he intended. I’m looking forward to the relationships I will build with my team, those who will become my second family. I’m looking forward to seeing the world! 11 Countries on 4 continents! Awesome!!
