Oh the adventures of The World Race!! We were supposed to head to Uganda Wednesday for month 8 on the race BUT a call we received Monday (4 days ago) changed that. Turns out there is an Ebola virus outbreak in Uganda so it is unsafe for us to go. So now we are staying here in Kenya until further notice. We will be staying here a few more days while AIM is looking into which country will be best for us to be rerouted to.
Another team has joined us and the 3 guys from another for a total of 15. They are all sleeping elsewhere but lunch and dinner is here so they spend the day in our house. Crazy crammed because it’s already a small house for the 5 of us so it’s been entertaining to say the least.
Crazy this is my life…I have no idea what country I will be in next week! I actually kind of like the suspense…it’s been a fun guessing game. Our 6 guys are leaving Saturday for South Sudan for their “MANistry” month and us ladies are in limbo until further notice.
