I CAN’T DO THIS!!!!!!!!!

Here are the facts….

There is NO WAY I CAN raise $15,000

There is NO WAY I CAN raise an additional $1,500 for supplies, vaccinations, ect.

There is NO WAY I CAN raise aprox $2,100 in 30 days to make my first deadline

There is NO WAY I CAN pay off my debt by 12/31/11

There is NO WAY I CAN sell my car for the $17k I still owe on it when its only worth $14k

I CAN'T DO THIS!!!

BUT there is this guy I know who says HE CAN DO THIS! God can handle this, nothing is too big for him! The ONLY way these things will be accomplished is THROUGH CHRIST ALONE. These are my mountains, and I say move!!!

"He replied, 'Because you have so little faith, truly I tell you, If you have faith as small as a mustard seed you can say to this mountain move from here to there and it shall move. Nothing will be impossible for you'"

As some of you may already know, my first (and only thus far) fundraiser was an epic fail of a car wash. Only 3 people came to help (Thank you so much ya'll rock!!!) and we stood out front holding signs for almost 2 hrs AND NO CARS STOPPED! Mind you, through a couple random donations I managed to raise $28 which will feed me for a week so I'm thankful for that! But, I was hoping for a couple hundred. Talk about a disappointment.
Well…As I sat back and thought about it I realized it a lesson learned. God has really been working on me about giving him EVERYTHING. Every aspect of my life, fundraising, debt, stress, everything. Well I didnt. I only prayed a quick "God help this be profitable" before my car wash and spent the remaining time worrying about who will show to help, how many cars will get washed, how much donations I'll raise. Wrong way to do that. Worrying doesn't get donations. Trying to raise it on my own doesn't do it. And God pointed that out. I can go hold a sign and dance around all I want but not unless I give it to God are people going to come. God finally said "Jen…what are you doing?? STOP! Stop stressing! Stop freakin' out! STOP! GIVE. IT. ALL. TO. ME." So here it is, I'm giving it all to God. Of course I'm not going to sit back and wait for thousands to rain down on me in my sleep…I understand I have to do the leg work. BUT I'm giving it to God. I understand that there is no way possible I can do any of this without him. I GIVE GOD ALL THE GLORY! And I thank you God NOW for providing and taking care of my every need.

So here's some of my leg work…Informing you of my support needs 🙂

1…Please be praying for my faith to continued to be strengthened.

2…Please be praying for the strength to DAILY bring my needs to Christ and surrender all to him

3…Please be praying that the few fundraiser ideas I'm working on will be able to take place

4…In 30 days my AIM acct MUST have a balance of $3,500 or I DO NOT GO. I am still in need of aprox $2100 to reach this deadline.

5….In 45 days I'm going to training camp. I'm in need of all my major supplies, Pack, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, tent….I'm in need of aprox an additional $500 for these items. (registry: http://www.rei.com/GiftRegistryDetails/GR2418209 )
