This year has been about building relationships from the people on my team that I’ve been traveling/living with and everyone we have met at each of the countries we’ve visited.  It really has been awesome being here in Thailand and working with She Self Help & Empower.  I have loved getting to know the girls that have taken that step to leave the sex industry and really start caring about themselves and their self worth.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

When we weren’t working at the shop during the day usually about 4 times a week we have been hitting the streets on Bangla Road in Patong, Thailand.

 
 

We would go prayer walk the streets and hit the bars.  Talking to different girls and getting to know them and what their life is like.  The one thing my team and I kept repeating over and over is that it’s all about love.

Sometimes in life you want things to change in an instant for maybe a certain person or situation.

I just want these girls to leave their jobs to come and work making jewelry (or just put them in my pocket and take them with me), but it takes genuine friendships of visiting and getting to know them to build up that trust. 

And the only way real change will happen in their life is through people praying for them that the Holy Spirit will start moving in their hearts to step out to make the change.

I just hope and pray that one day they will be moved to make a change like the girls at SHE so they know and realize “they ARE worth it!”
