For anyone who does not know or understand how this works, I shall attempt to explain.  On the World Race we have squads and teams.  Squads are groups of about 50 people who are traveling on the same route.  For example, I am on July Route 2, and the group of people who will be traveling with me is known as R Squad.  Within R Squad we are broken up into teams of about 7 people.  These teams disperse around the country and live, work, play, and do ministry together.  The people I am about to introduce to you will be doing life with me.  They are my supporters, friends, coworkers, and family on the field.  I've only known them for a week, but they are absolutely precious to my heart!

So, introducing (drum roll please) Team All Things!

We chose the name "All Things" from Romans 8:28 which says "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." (ESV, emphasis mine).  The World Race is sure to throw us curveballs and challenge our expectations, but we must remember that they are working for our good, and for the good of those we are going out to serve.  This verse was thematic through Training Camp for some of us as well.

Now to personal introductions!  Keep in mind, I've only known these people for a week.  I shall start off with our men.

First up we have Chandler Keenan!

Chandler Keenan

He is our fearless team leader.  He loves to joke around and is quite funny (we will have to see how that statement holds up through the months), but is ready to be serious when he needs to be.  He listens well, and has a heart for this team! He also gives fantastic hugs.

Next we have Brad Ferrell!

Brad Ferrell

He is on the logistics team for R squad.  He is such an awesome guy, and he represented R squad well in a dance off.  He has incredible insight and wisdom, and is great and putting together plans and solving problems.

To conclude introducing the men of the team we have Kevin Garcia!

The World Race | Kevin Garcia

He is the safety coordinator for R squad.  He is also a ball of fun.  He is an encourager and brings a lot of life to our team.  He is a musician and I'm excited to see how God uses his gifts and personality this year.

These men are all very different, yet they individually and as a group make me feel safe, and not just physically safe, but emotionally and spiritually as well.  I know they are looking to protect the women of the team as well as encourage us to become the women God has created us to be.

Now, the ladies.

First we have Erica Huntsman!

Erica Huntsman

She is one swell girl.  She is quiet, but she will make her voice heard when she has something to say.  I love seeing her express what is on her heart because it is so beautiful!  She has so much wisdom to share, and I'm super excited to watch God work in her life!

Next we have Laura Quam!

Laura Quam

Laura is super sweet and courageous.  She has a passion for Africa and girls born in India (where girls are not valued, and often killed shortly after birth).  Her kind disposition, passion, and unwavering faith make her one powerful woman of God.

To conclude the team (other than myself) we have Shannon Quayle!

Shannon Quayle

She is super generous; one night she shared her stuff with me because mine was taken away.  Sharing is one thing, but she showed selfless generosity as she shared unprompted and made sure that I was comfortable.  She also makes sure things get done.  If there is a job that needs doing she is ready and willing to step up and do it.

These women are absolutely precious to me.  They will be my sisters, and I couldn't ask for a better group.  We will be able to challenge each other and love on each other in ways I cannot even imagine yet.

I am the team treasurer, and if you want a self-written description you can read my about me page.

And to help you get to know my team even better, here is a video that Kevin put together!
